The MALEM Awards and Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the details of the 2024 nomination and application processes! Awards and scholarships will be presented at the Maine Prepares Conference in late May.
Award nominations will be accepted from 2/1/24 – 4/1/24 through this form. The award categories include Service, Lifetime Achievement, Student of the Year, Emerging Professional, and Mentorship. Each award will be presented to a single individual based on their dedication, leadership, and contributions to emergency management in Maine. Learn more about the awards program here.
Scholarship applications will be accepted from 2/1/24 – 4/1/24 from higher education students currently enrolled in an emergency management related degree program. Students can be either a Maine resident attending an in-state or out-of-state program OR an out-of-state student attending a Maine-based program.
